Crystal

Ballet & Pointe Teacher

I have been a dancer for 16+ years here in Pueblo CO. I have done all types of dances from pointe, ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop. I was privileged to be able to teach all types of dances for 3 years. I have since continued to dance on and off since my career stop in 2020. I am now a dental assistant and have gotten the opportunity to teach here at graceful steps. I plan to welcome the world of ballet from the perspective of poise, technique and the beautiful ways dance can help escape on from reality. I as a teacher want my students to use my classes to learn the art of ballet and allow them to express themself in a safe and engaging environment. I’m very excited for this opportunity and can’t wait to enjoy these wonderful years and grow with my students.

Emma

Tumbling Teacher

Hi, my name is Emma Wilson and I fell in love with gymnastics when I was 7 years old. I started training at Excel Gymnastics in Alaska in the 2nd grade and continued once I moved to Colorado. I practiced both at Nogares Gymnastics and CAG, learning tricks and making friends all along the way! My most recent work has been with K – 4th grade kids at an outdoor school in Black Forest. I loved working with them and I’m excited to work with you as well!

Gabby

Ballet Teacher

My name is Gabrielle, but you can call me Gabby, and I’m thrilled to be one of the ballet instructors at Graceful Steps. With nearly a decade of dance experience under my belt, my journey in the world of dance began at the age of 8 back in 2010, culminating in 2019 after 9.5 years of dedication. Along the way, I’ve explored various styles including ballet, tap, jazz (including lyrical jazz), contemporary, modern, hip hop, and even Irish dance. However, my heart truly belongs to ballet and lyrical. This marks my inaugural year as a teacher, and my mission is clear: to nurture your student’s rhythm, groove, and confidence. I’ll be there every step of the way, introducing them to the fundamentals of ballet technique while encouraging their inner creativity to shine. My aim is to cultivate an inclusive environment where every student feels valued and supported throughout their dance journey. I’m incredibly excited to embark on this journey with your student and be a part of their learning experience at Graceful Steps!

Jennifer

Irish Step Teacher

Hello! I’m Jennifer and I started dancing ballet when I was 4 years old. I continued in ballet for 5 years, during which time I had the great privilege of being selected to perform in the annual production of The Nutcracker. As an adult I became interested in Irish dancing. I competed in Irish dancing for 8 years and was fortunate enough to be able to compete and place in Oireachtas, (an annual championship competition that is held by several Irish dance organizations globally and includes both solo and ceilí (team) events). I am very excited to be able to share my love of dancing with Graceful Steps!

Kallie

Tumbling Teacher

Hello, my name is Kallie Brake. I fell in love with gymnastics when I was 2 years old. I started doing classes at Nogares gymnastics when I was little and the better and older I got i switched to Stars Gymnastics in Colorado Springs which was also due to moving. When we moved back to Pueblo west, I was 8 years old and switched to Cañon Academy where I met Emma. I started getting better and at 13 I switched to Kinetic Gymnastics in fountain. I quit gymnastics during COVID due to gyms being shut down then got back into it, I suffered an injury and when I went back after I was able to, I quit again. I did high school gymnastics sophomore year through senior year going back to kinetic one more time which I also quit again. I am now competing again with Nogares as well as coaching there. I love working with kids who have the same love for a sport I do, and I can’t wait to work with all of you as well!

Kensley

Contemporary, Jazz, Modern, Musical Theater & Tap Teacher

Hi! I’m Kensley! I’m 21 years old, and I have been dancing for 15 years. My favorite style of dance is contemporary. Dance means everything to me, as it has always been a release. When I’m dancing, any stresses or worries seem to fade away. When I’m not dancing, I’m either hiking, crafting, paddle boarding or hanging out with people I love! I am honored to be teaching here and couldn’t be more excited!
